Pieter Bruegel the Elder biography and comprehension (KS1)

A biography and comprehension based on the life of the famous artist Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Children use their information retrieval skills to locate the answers to the comprehension and record answers on a SATs style worksheet. Answer guidance is provided. Two follow-on art and design tasks allow children to explore Bruegel's Renaissance painting style further and include a study of his artwork Children's Games.  This resource is suitable for children in years 1 and 2 and is suitable as a homework task.
